Summary
Serra writes his nephew, who has recently entered the order of St. Francis, of his upcoming mission to ^the province of San Saba. He tells of the martyrdom of two clergy there last year, and the serious wounding of another. Apaches are the primary inhabitants, although Commanches and ^innumerable other tribes^ are present. Of particular interest is the description of the circumstances surrounding the massacre. (C. Briggs) (1975)
