The French had moved the presidio de Nachitos across the River into what the Spanish claimed as their territory. The Spanish also suspected (and had evidence of) the French trading with Indians in Spanish territory; the Indians had become loyal to the French as a result. Contains info. On presidio organization and strength. Also, population figures for some Indian villages are given. Lists goods and their quality involved in French/Indian trade.
