Summary
Letters to Corbalan regarding Neve's papers and receipt of goods received and price paid, and attempts to distinguish Neve's belongings from those of Cavallero de Croix. Medina to Galindo Navarro regarding receipt of copy of Neve's will and plans for making inventories and auction. Corbalan to Galindo Navarro Corbalan's being chosen as executor of Neve's will and duties transactions; commissions. Dongo to Galindo Navarro regarding selection of Neve's executors and news of Neve's death. Autos concerning choice of executors and plans for auction, Corbalan is organizing auction in Arispe; 7 receipts for purchases by Neve presented by Fernandes, and paid by executors as stipulated in will, including payment for mules stolen by Apaches, and payment to doctor. Account of auction of Neve's belonging (household goods, clothing, weapons, livestock), with buyer and purchase price provided for each item conducted by Fernandes; autos attest that auction was carried out by Fernandes according to request in will. Price of gold Chapa evaluated by silversmith. Rengel to Sal regarding Neve's papers. Ugarte y Loyola to Galvez regarding autos of inventories of Neve's belongings. List of Neve's belongings with value not sold at auction; list of belongings of gold and silver with price appraisal; belongings not sold in Chihuahua due to high prices, in Mexico prices are Lower according to Cervantes; Dongo expresses difficulty selling furniture. Accounts of funds spent according to requests in Neve's will for bills (copies of bills and receipts included) including funeral expenses, doctors, medicine, services, masses, household goods, transportation of goods and funds, servants' salaries, legal fees and appraisers' fees. Neve's belongings (including description and value) sent to Dongo in Mexico by Fernandez; acknowledgement of receipt of objects. Documents concerning final accounts of the auction, deductions from Neve's wealth, and that executors carried out functions satisfactorily, including final remittances of funds and uniforms to heirs and to Caxa de Bienes de difuntos de Cadiz. Summary
Correspondence related to arrest of Indians against whom court case is brought in ff. 97-120. Diary from Urrea details occurrences of compania including arrest of gobernadores of Pitic and Tubutama, and four other Indians implicated in revolt; table of occupied positions in compania. Crespo relates that gobernador de Pitic has devotion of his Pueblo, and much of Caborca behind him; wants situation handled so as to minimize problems with other Indians, avoid general rebellion in Pimeria Alta. Summary
Document concerns grievances of soldiers of Nuevo Santander and company of llero who accompanied Zerna in transporting two prisoners, Murgier and Puga, to Mexico. F. 211 gives list of soldiers and orders soldiers to remain in Mexico until trial of two prisoners is completed. F. 217 is letter from one soldier, de Leon, complaining of extended stay and noting lack of adequate clothing and money for soldiers, who intended to go to Mexico and immediately return to N. Santander. More money, due to extended leave, is requested to provide for soldiers' needs. F. 222 provides list of salaries of each soldier. 250 pesos ordered sent to soldiers to aid them. F. 241 added some time later and tells of sudden death of de Leon and speaks of his having killed five Apaches in cold blood. (P. Lenz, March 1990)

Summary
Orders from viceroy to Anza about recruitment of soldiers with families to move to and settle San Francisco California, appointments of lieutenant and Sergeant to be in command of garrison. Also appointment of friars to accompany expedition with cooperation of fray Serra establish two missions in area settled. de Anza travels to Sinaloa and established towns in Sonora recruiting families and purchasing supplies, cattle, horses and mules for March with orders to leave as soon as possible carrying enough supplies to leave with settlers until area is established. Viceroy orders de Anza to turn command of expedition in Monterrey to Moncada who will command presidio in San Francisco, also is ordered to select with Moncada site for presidio and missions to be established and return to Sonora as soon as task accomplished. de Anza informs viceroy of progress made in recruitment impossibility of Alferez Morada to go with expedition as wife has terminal disease, also notifies viceroy of death of sargent Espinosa to unknown epidemic which has affected many families recruited slowing progress many months. de Anza request substitution of sargent from O'Conor military inspector and general commander. List of soldiers with families is sent to viceroy amounting to 191 persons not counting muleskinners, people attached to expedition like merchants, farmers who are not being paid by de Anza who is supplying them with food only, also three families whose husbands are attached to presidio of Monterrey. Anza expedition starts from Tubac on October 20, Ten months after viceroy issued orders which Anza argues is best time due to rains which will provide water and better pasture for animals. Attached are letters from fray Garces who is reluctant to go with expedition wanting instead to establish missions in upper Colorado and Gila rivers, viceroy issues him orders to join expedition under de Anza which he agrees with reluctance requesting his own special assistants and his own transportation.
