He tells of revolt conspiracy and present state of affairs in New Mexico, as well as of Pueblo-Apache relations. Don Luis Tupata is present leader of pueblos, and he and his henchmen have killed persons siding with Spaniards and will not allow catholicism to be practiced or Spanish language to be spoken. (C.
