Pardinas on pretext Sumas involved in Pueblo revolt; Higuera, who executed 7 Pimas suspected killing Spanish soldiers near Teuricachi, then seized peaceful Rancheria supposedly in confederation with Pimas, executed 42, sent 123 to Sinaloa presidio as prisoners. Relates discovery silver by Indian Sonora; embargo placed on mine by Quiroz, captain Sinaloa presidio, because area not yet missionized; disobedience embargo by Pardinas, despite viceroy Galve's approval Quiroz' action, who named Mendibil Alcalde mayor new Real, authorized armed men to enter area, thereby causing Indians to revolt.
