Rodriguez to viceroy that briefly discusses his own career as captain of the presidio (ff. 79). States that Manuel Rodriguez I his Brother. V. Rodriguez ordered to appoint position of tenencia del Rio Grande as he sees fit. Another letter discusses troops at presidio, status of nearby missions, activities of personnel and Indians, and visita general of the presidio.
