Summary
Concerns report to viceroy on findings of expedition made to place for construction of new presidio of el sacramento. Son of the governor is appointed captain of new presidio and assigned six hundreds pesos a month. Sargents are assigned four hundred a month. Chaplain and other authorities are appointed. Soldiers for the new presidio will be recruited from other presidios to take advantage of their experience in battle against Indians. Amounts of gun powder for each soldier are budgeted. (M. Summary
Concerns construction of military facility named presidio del Santisimo sacramento in Junta de los Rios Grandes del norte. Purpose of this presidio is to protect people and property from continuous attacks made by Indians. Documents are descriptive of the area chosen for the construction of such facility. Construction of presidio is also important to control Indian population in the area in case they are not converted to be christians. Military personnel are appointed. Salaries are established for commanders and soldiers. Place for construction of presidio is said to be abundant of natural resources and minerals. Soldiers for the new presidio are going to be transferred from other presidios so it will not be costly to the crown. (M. Marroquin, January 1989)

Summary
Concerns military expedition to Coahuila and Nueva Vizcaya lead by Berroteran who needed to find a place for future construction of Sacramento presidio, such a place had to be suitable for the settlement of people as well as strategic for military purposes. Indians from Dulce Nombre de Jesus refuse to be relocated. Document makes a dramatic account of Indians' attacks to justify the need for the construction of presidio. Summary
Series of documents concerning reports on military status of provincias Nueva Vizcaya and Sonora. Documents show charts contrasting figures of military personnel, weapons, ammunition, prisoners, sick soldiers and war casualties. Some charts contain lists (figures only), of Indian women, men and children in presidios, agricultural work, horses, mules, troop's check ups, etc. These footnotes are presented in diary form giving the day and the month of the event. Against indians who have stolen horses and cattle from haciendas; governor of New Mexico reports that he has been sick from his eyes and gives account of military actions against indian lipanes; series of letters reporting on good conduct of indians who have made peace with Spaniards, letters mention good treatment towards indians; report is given about problems in catching captain lipan ynx-intle who hides in the mountains; military campaign is organized to drive indian chief out of the mountains; report about indians being organized for agricultural work; report is given about raid organized against indian rebels using indian auxiliaries; comanches attacked Apaches killing some women and the indian chief; governor demonstrated his gratitude to indians for success of operations against Apaches and gives gifts to the indian auxiliaries. Military post to safeguard cattle used for food for indians who are peaceful; military operation launched against gandules ended with some taken as prisoners and others killed; commander nava, is ordered to drive indians away from fronteras where they are inflicting too much damage to Spaniard's properties; report about military operations are sent to the viceroy; indians have stolen corn from rancho manuel manuel; report on indians stealing horses, mules and corn from several ranchos, some horses are later recovered; summary of indian hostilities in San Juan Bautista is sent to the viceroy; series of reports on several military campaigns launched against indians who stole horses and mules from presidios; report on series of robberies committed by indians from presidios and haciendas.
