Discussion about Juan de Castaneda Guevedo's marriage without a license. At time of marriage he was lacking his fe de bautizmo which had requested from Spain. Local officials married him anyway. Documents focus on who was responsible for marrying Castaneda without proper authority and what is proper procedure for punishment. Contains list of officers married in province in 1780 and older documents requesting permission allowing officers to marry due to immoral conditions. Revilla Gigedo grants authority on June 8, 1792.
