Series of oficios sent to the viceroy, summarizing details of trial against Murgier and Puga, Murgier for ordering a murder and Puga for executing the crime. Some details of how the killing happened is given here, such as Zamora suggesting that perhaps it would be better to just poison the Indians with some herbs so it wouldn't be that cruel. Summary
Copies of documents about imprisonment of Nayaritos Cumplido, Cruz, Matheo, and Felix. The Indians from San Lucas were imprisoned in Mosquital for inciting natives to rebel against padres ministros. Includes copies of testimonies from vecinos, administrators, and military officers which affirm crime and status of prisoners. Imprisonment intended to set example to other Indians. Lopez and Soriano solicted for history of from San Lucas were imprisoned in mowquital -- but not for inciting unrest. (S. Gibbs, February 1989)

Notice of revision of ramo de alcavalas of the provinces of Nuevo Santander; governor receives copies of bandos from the viceroy (bandos are related to prohibition of commerce among employees of ramo de rentas); viceroy authorizes military escort for Munoz, who is traveling to Texas; notice that people of tributary classes must get a licence to get out of domicile; viceroy gives recommendations about dealing with ships claiming to be whale hunting; Cierragorda receives order to release Alferez de Tula; notice is given that Mugier's case be reviewed; titulo de Castilla is given to Serena; Cierragorda receives copies of Bando giving pardon to people guilty of contraband (M. Marroquin, November 1988).
