Criminals are brought together and transported to Durango; some people not considered necessary for transport culled; charges presented to soldiers once they arrive in prison; confessions of deserters; listings of stolen goods, crimes committed, acomplices; notice from Buena Vista town that four deserters stole three horses and carried off two women; much repetitive testimony from prisoners; notice to find Gonzales, who was left by the other three in home town of Nombre de Dios; prisoners give lack of food and clothing as reason for desertion; Gonzalez testimony that he was abducted by others found to be most honest and he not considered acomplice in desertion; Prodela named defender of Alarcon and Mesa, Uranga named for Ornelas; legal deposition of crimes, precidents in case, argues prisoners should only be given time served as they left with only cloths on their backs; judge gives six years to be served in army units, based on precident quoted by Rodriguez; eventually set free by virrey in 1820 (p. Summary
Massanet receives several horses from gobernador. Letter from Massanet to gobernador Theran requesting soldiers to protect the mission and to punish the Indians. Fernandez Centra states the impossibility of traveling the River because it's to narrow. This information is confirmed by other capitanes and sent to Theran. Letter from Massanet to gobernador Theran explaining that the Guatsas Indians are stealing cattle and that the Texas Indians are their accomplices. Masanet requests these two groups be punished. Relacion of the soldiers left in the Provincia de los Texas. The relacion contains the names of the eight soldiers. Auto from gobernador Theran dictating sentence to Salazar for desertion. He is to be sent to San Juan de Ulua to work with out salary for two years. Several military receipts are included for weapons and powder. (D. Bautista, July 1990)

Summary
Concerns Series of documents dealing with military reports from presidios of Provincias Internas. This documents consists of diaries and detailed data on the military status of the various presidios under the administration of the corresponding commanders. Charts contain match of military campaigns with number of military officials, soldiers, equipment, and supplies along with footnotes giving additional explanation of arms and ammunition making, military events and novedades. Diaries of daily novedades that occurred in presidios are women kidnapped by soldier; desertions; horses, weapons ammunition, needed in presidios; food supplies, prisoners, clothes, sick soldiers, chaplains, shooting practices, burials, hiring of soldiers etc. (M.
