Neve expresses need for equalization of salaries for same rank/position among military, religious and civil personnel. A Series of letters between Vaamonde and virrey conde that the San Christoval mission and Indian Lorenzo as recipient of money, petition for retirement filed by Garza and subsequent approval, receipt of index of letters 68-69, promotion of Frevino to Alferez, petition by Indians for new mayor (Salinas) and their complaints with Santa, audience granted to Indian Servantes to discuss the mayoral situation mentioned in preceeding letter. A Series of letters from Valdes to Vaamonde concerning the request that the soldiers Moya and Munoz appear before him to testify on Dufay's contention that he gave 224 pesos to the Indians of mission of San Christoval in order to pacify them, the testimonies of the aforementioned soldiers that corroborate the events as related by Dufay, Rodrigues' witnessing efforts at pacification by Dufay in 1787, testimony of Munoz that established Indian Lorenzo as being the original recipient of the money in question and he was supposed to distribute the money, a report filed with mayor Gomes which Valdes is now requesting, the conclusion of testimonies on this matter and, a copy of the testimony of Gomes de Castro.
