Documents relating to events in transporting families from canary islands to settle in Texas, lists of materials in clothing and all kinds of tools needed. Lists of supplies of foods, salary to be paid to guide, increase of daily maintenance for every person, census of families with physical description of every individual in expedition, proposals by church to marry every girl from 12 to 18 years of age and every Boy from 24 to 12 years of age. Appointment of priest to cure families, itinerary of trip. Also, lists of expenses incurred in transportation from Veracruz to San Antonio. Maps with planned areas in which such families could settle near San Antonio without conflicting with other settlers in area drawn by marquez de Aguayo in ff. 187. A plan to scale and drawing of proposed Villa to be established in ff. 201 and orderly issuing of lands to be given to families for planting. (A. Dell'acqua, January 1988)

Ff. 0402-0409 concerns a complaint by the priest Eulogio Fernandez that the horses of the military company of the area are causing damage to his lands; the intendente has ordered certain measures to be taken in relation to this matter which are not explained, letter in which virrey is told that Fernandez has been notified of the measures taken; ff. 0410 concerns the account used to distribute gifts to the Indians; ff. 0411 concerns money invested in gifts for Indians for the year 1804; ff 0412 -0416 concerns a case brought against Balli, he was arrested but died while in custody, two other people involved in crime are still in jail, since he was not formally proven guilty the goods belonging to him must be returned to his widow; ff 417-418 concerns statements made on the military service record of Baron. Late December Mentions some families in Mescaleros with 'chiguicagui captain.' rolls are for September through December , but include two misplaced rolls from January , February 1787. (A. Dean, June 1989)
