Recapitulates Velaunzaran's consulta (7/3/1740) to viceroy cincerning state Nueva Vizcaya. Summarizes attempts to organize relief expedition to Sinaloa. Mentions one reason for Yaqui-Mayo rebellion rumor Indian leaders Muni, Bernabe, Temea, others killed on visit to Mexico City. States these leaders sent back to Sinaloa-Sonora to help quell revolt; given titles captain, Alferez, Yaqui nation by Audiencia Guadalajara. Notes arrived in Nueva Vizcaya, wheat will be harvested, easing food shortages. Recommends that all possible aid be sent Huidobro from Nueva Vizcaya. (T. Sheridan) (1976)
