Many of documents deal with statements of eyewitnesses in case. Much correspondence between Malibran, government officials, and viceroy. Documents dealing with imprisonment of Malibran and house arrest of de las Casas. Letters of Malibran to viceroy seeking a pardon. Documents of priests testifying to good behavior of Malibran.
