A report on Indian depredations in provinces and their consequences ; notes include descriptions of isolated Tepehuane communities continuing traditional lifeways; dangerous alliance of Tarahumaras and barbarians; commerce of some Tarahumaras in stolen horses; loyalty and productivity of some Tepehuanes and Tarahumaras; Fayni stresses wild character of many of Indians of province, so many years after conquest.
