Documents deal with account of battle in San Miguel against Lipanes; discussion that account is greatly exaggerated with respect to number of Indians killed as well as number of weapons, horses, and other things taken from Indians. Castro orders official investigation of battle; Tovar as well as many soldiers give detailed account of condition of horses, etc. Mention that Tovar is not at fault for he wrote account according to accounts of his soldiers.
