Notifies him despite misgivings, sending detachments 15 men from Pitic, Altar, Buenavista presidios to reinforce presidial forces Terrenate, Fronteras, Tubac embarking on expedition. States wheat harvests that year poor, that wheat prices doubled, that many people left fields for Cieneguilla placers. Warns possible failure maiz crop. (T. Sheridan, 1976)
