Emparan appointed to governorship, succeeding interim governor Gutierrez de la Cueva; virrey who oversaw proceedings of Fueros' demotion Dies, successor decrees that complaints against Fueros 'siniestras E infundadas', not reinstated as governor, however; individuals previously determined to destroy Fueros' career now in accord that he governed with 'pureza y desinteres'; isolated document alludes to Potau's appointment as governor replacing Gutierrez, no further mention however (end of issue.)
