Summary
Letter form Arzobispo of Mexico City to Roma y Rossell in agreement with determinations of the construction, the bula the fiat and nomination of the obispo for the new church in Nuevo Reyno de Leon. Mier makes a certified copy of the letter from the king for the years 1618, 1620 and 1621. The king wants to know what the problem is in relation to the archbishop and the diezmos from Panuco. In a second letter, the king wants information in regard to the construction. In a third, he seeks information of the death of the dean of the church. Several letters from fiscales to jueces hacedores of the new cathedral to maintain the collection of diezmos while the king decides the place for the construction. An accounting relation of diezmos for the construction made by caxas reales in San Luis Potosi. (D. Bautista, February 1990)
