Summary
Letter written by Rodrigo, wife of Gonzales de Burgos, reiterating that her Husband has been seeking employment for 5 years, intimating that many vacant posts for which he applied were been given to Younger people despite his experience. Merino tells Salcedo that he held low opinion of Gonzales in his post in secretaria, does not recommend reinstatement. After losing job as administrador de Tobacos, Gonzales solicits job as administrador de Alcavalas in Saltillo; asks that documentation of employment history, references be sent from real hacienda. Gonzales reminds fiscal de real hacienda that he has been out of post as Oficial Tercero for 14 years. (O. Velez, January 1990)
