Merino tells Salcedo that he held low opinion of Gonzales in his post in secretaria, does not recommend reinstatement. After losing job as administrador de Tobacos, Gonzales solicits job as administrador de Alcavalas in Saltillo; asks that documentation of employment history, references be sent from real hacienda.
