Testimony of Alferez Valerio, who was a Member of the squadron dispatched to provide help to the wagon train of capitan Pedro de Andrada. The witness reports that five persons had been killed (with arrows) - two mulato slaves, two Indians, and one mestizo. The squadron continued in pursuit, sometimes losing the tracks of the hostiles, and observing a large number of enemy Indians on the way. (C. Needham) (1975)
