Summary
Indian troubles involving Conchos and Tarahumaras - efforts to solve problem. Includes pseudo-census of several villages, both named pueblos and Indian rancherias. Also, lists of soldiers participating. Fernandez de Carrion solves the problem. Tarahumaras have entered a hacienda and caused trouble with Indians working there, mostly Conchos. Carrion proceeds to capture some Tarahumaras and they are remitted to various haciendas in the area. This could well be a prelude to the Tarahumara revolt soon to come. A good example of military methodology, both in the field and on paper. (T. Barnes) (u975)
