With authority of captain Matheo de Mena, fray Juan de Bustamante, of convent San Nicolas in Durango, sells Joseph, a Negro slave of 21 years to Diego de Benariedez y Gante for 500 pesos in reales. Davis) (1976) additional slave sales 0481-0484- 1 Negro, age 35, for 430 pesos. 0496-0500- 1 Mulatto, age 28, for 500 pesos. 0496-0500- 1 Negro, age 44, for 500 pesos. 0501-0503- 1 Negro, age 22, for 700 pesos. 0501-0503- 1 Negra, for 700 pesos. 0516-0518- 1 Negra, age 34, for 470 pesos.
