Summary
A petition by residents of Sinaloa asking that their Indian labor be restored. The governor had previously given his consent to a Jesuit proposal to move Indians into villages away from the Spanish. The governor relents, and orders that miners and ranchers have access to Indian labor as they did before. (T. Barnes) (1977)
