Summary
Ramon Vasquez de Mendoza cites the improved conditions in the area as a need to maintain the Nuevos destacamentos and especially Theniente Jose Gregorio Valenzuela. Indian attacks have been reduced, and the area is returning to a state of peace and quiet.
