Summary
Declarations by settlers recruited in El Paso by Vargas. In these testimonies they describe what they rec'd or didn't receive. It seems vagas distributed tools, clothing, and cattle destined for settlers among the Indians. He also sold cattle and mules to the soldiers thus depriving settlers of their fair share. (R.
