Summary
Concha gives Navajo account of new Apaches Gilenos supposedly came in peace, but with the real intent to kill the Navajo chief. The Navajo figures it out and orders his people to kill the Apaches. All nine are killed. An interpreter gives other story. Apaches were killed while smoking tobacco with arms put away. Concha believes the second story but publically endorses the Navajo version and thanks them for their efforts. (thoric cederstrom) (1980)
