Summary
In letter labeled classified (reservado) Pedro de Nava informs gobernador Chacon that he is sending him a copy of an order sent to the interim gobernador of Texas. Vigilance is urged to counter possible English subversion of the Indians. Augustus Bowles has been reappointed by the English to take command of the Indians near the Spanish frontier.
