Summary
Tapia informs Muniz Apaches under Nataneju, Pachatiju meeting Spaniards at Malpais to exchange prisoners, stolen arms taken in raid on puerto de Nogales for fresadas, alesnas y cuchillos. feels it will be very difficult to recover stolen livestock. Muniz (January 19, 1778, Carrizal) replies that exchange okay, but to take arms against Apaches immediately if they break truce. Informs Tapia hostile Apaches stole four horses from his area. (T.
