Summary
Texas Indians went to Bexar to discuss an attack on Apaches. de Mezieres, who is ill with a tumor, was supposed to lead them. However the Indians and a group of Criollos from Natchitoches request Spanish help and Cabello's leadership. Cabello asks de Croix that a squadron be sent to Rio Grande, and also for a decision on the matter. Also discusses surgery performed on de Mezieres, and accomodations given to visitors. (R.
