Testimony and trial against Ignacio (el Tuerto), Pedro Andres an Francisco (el Leon Pies de Venado), accused of espionage, murder and theft against Spaniards in favor of rebel Indians. Death sentence by hanging given, defense by Cristobal Ruiz de Avendano appeal of sentence; sentence commuted. Accused set free to serv as emissaries of peace to rebelled nations. (A.
