A Bando ordering all inhabitants of New Mexico, Spaniards, Castas, and Indians, to acquire weapons if they do not have any. If they cannot afford firearms, then a bow and twenty-five arrows can be substituted. de Anza imposed a time limit of two Months, at which time all those who had not complied would received two months in jail. Accounts of Spanish executions of murderers. Also, unsuccessful efforts to reduce Salineros.
