1335 inhabitants Conicari, Tepahue, Macoyahui, Batacosa Rancheria, real de minas Redras Verdes. Area ethnic frontier. Some Indians Conicari Mayos, others Conicaris, cahita group speaking own language. Inhabitants Tepahue cahita group who understand cahita but spoke Tepahue. Musical instruments include sackbut (sacabuche). People especially devoted, gather Voluntarily on saturdays to say rosaries. Mentions epidemic which killed many small children. Inhabitants Macoyahui speak Macoyahui (probably other cahita language). Christians but a little rough (toscos), fond of drinking. Pueblos, especially Macoyahui, located in mountains near Rio Mayo.
