Calzada accuses bishop Llanos of mishandling the properties of deceased bishop Bustamante. In several letters to the virrey, Calzada trys to demonstrate that Llanos is making the matters difficult for him and he wants the virrey to remove Llanos. Llanos is commissioned by the virrey to investigate whether there was fraud in Bustamente's administration of Diezmos. Fiscales from the royal hacienda defend bishop Llanos from the attacks of Calzada.
