Contains a Series of election results for the Ayuntamiento del Parral from 1807-1814. The elections of 1813, 1814 are described in great detail, and the electoral procedures are explained. All citizens, indios puros, Espanoles and mestizos of the real (Parral and surrounding haciendas) are entitled to Vote for 17 electors. These electors in turn select the officials (2 Alcaldes, 8 regidores, 2 procuradores). The governador yutendente de la provincia had the power to anull the election results. (P. Hayes) (1977)
