All data are in shapefile format, NAD83, UTM Zone 12, and meters projection and includes FGDC compliant metadata. The data available consists of geospatial data previously available to download from the Arizona Electronic Atlas and the Arizona Historic Census GeoDatabase. Additional data not previously available include US Forest Service Roads, Land Ownership, and various Heath and Crime data.

The data is arranged in categories on the left side of the screen. Just click on a category and you’ll see data that’s in that category or you can view all data. The data is organized first by category and then within each category alphabetically. Each listing includes a link to view the metadata, a thumbnail and full image of the data, and a link to download the data.

The Atlas provides downloadable maps to the university and to the public.
