Summary
The Spaniards of San Ignacio de Revilla inform virrey that they are assisting in the pacification of the Indians and in the construction of a church without any cost to the royal hacienda. Hacendados want the virrey reconsider how much they will have to pay for the Alcabala. recaudadores, tax collectors, send the operational accounting most specify the transactions; 3. The collectors will charge 4%; 4. The spiritual contracts can be made in other places; 5. Civil justices and scribes must declare the number of documents they have; 6. Religious are exempt from paying; 7. Indians are exempt; 8. Corn is exempt; 9. Several seeds if not sold only pay 5%; 10. The sellers have to pay; 11. Those who do not have an address have to pay also; 12. The commerce of Castilla also have obligations; 13. Those who refuse to pay will pay four times more; 14. Contraband is prohibited. 15. Indians complain that their land was taken away and the Spaniards do not want to recognized it. Virrey order that the land must be returned to the Indians. Alferez Trevino is commissioned to measure the Indian land. The measurements are made in the pueblo de purificacion. The tools used for the measurement were cordel bien estirado, encerado y Una Vara castellana. (D. Bautista, April 1990)

The Indians also mention that the only person that is helping them is Dona Resendi. The Indians want to stop the policia economica y christiana. Summary
Autos from Mecos Indians complaining that they are mistreated by the Spaniards and request protection from virrey. He orders an investigation from both the authorities of Monterrey and the mission, and wants sworn testimony and without delay. The investigation is focused only on the land of the Indians but not on who is mistreating them. Stated on folio 168 is desde su Nacimiento Se Han alimentado, como son la Flor de Tuna, Mesquite, Coma, maguacatas, Mescales aguamiel... (D. Bautista, April 1990)

Escandon is accused of giving land to certain Indians that is owned by Bermudes and of taking mulas y maiz from the haciendas. Escandon also reports on the pacification of Indians including a report that Indians fear of disease makes it difficult to get them to settle in villages, but that some Indians Apostatas and Gentiles are requesting permission to congregarse in the villages.
