Relations with four Allied nations, Yutas, Xicarillas, Navajoes and Comanches, continue in tranquility. Xicarilla have launched campaign against Faraones. Loyola has passed on royal order stating that Comanches should be used as auxiliaries, and should be allowed to war against Apaches with little if any assistance from Spanish troops. (D. Summary
Concha submits his diary of campaign against Gilenos. His campaign has only limited encounters with Apaches, finding for the most part only traces both recent and old of Indian occupation. Response from virrey mentions difficulty of controlling Apaches in Sonora, Nueva Vizcaya and Nueva Mexico; but that as a result of campaigns such as this, area is now better known, especially with regard to water, pasturage, etc. (D. Tables list names of inhabitants divided by sex and adult/child; names of deceased divided by sex, adult child and type of death (natural or violent). Letter from Concha to Ugarte y Loyola saying he has consigned friendly Indian nations to guarding less cooperative tribes to maintain peace, requests military try to leave all of them alone, keep Spanish Side of agreement. Other letters discuss meetings with various Indian leaders, violations of peace plan, means of enforcement. Detailed description of two Comanche campaigns on Sierra Blanca Apaches. Mention of seasonal habitation Yutas y Xicarillas. Mention that Apaches Gilenos on south Side of Rio Grande seem sincere in wish for peace, those on north Side have made two invasions since plan in effect. (A. Dean, March 1989)

Autos accusing Martinez of being drunk and shooting through the Door of Monica Gonzalez. All the people who saw the incident were questioned and all felt he was completly drunk. Summary
Relation of the military career of Garcia conde, and a letter to the new virrey requesting permission to leave his position because he feels ill. On June 22, 1817 ayuntamiento de Chihuahua again writes a letter to the new virrey requesting move of the capitania general from Durango to Chihuahua. Virrey orders Bonavia to change his residence when new gobernador of Durango arrives. Garcia conde answers the virrey explaining why he does not want to change his residence. (D. Summary
The ayuntamiento de Chihuahua sends a letter to Bonavia asking if the prisoners are actually in his custody and not in the presidio ultramarino. The Ayuntamiento sends a copy to virrey. Bonavia answers the ayuntamiento de Chihuahua stressing that they should respect his actions and not listen to ligerezas. Virrey orders Bonavia to change his residence and stop the problems in Chihuahua; Bonavia answers virrey that he will obey but he still does not understand why he has to be in Chihuahua. The fiscal gives information to the virrey concerning the events in Chihuahua and Bonavia's case; ayuntamiento de Chihuahua sends a letter to Bonavia telling him that he misunderstood their letter and that they have the right to appeal. Fiscal suggests virrey stop Bonavias misconduct. (D. Bautista, 1989)
