Bonilla inspection military post attacked by Apaches and gives report on damages and casualties; troops are ordered to remain on defensive. Special mail sent from San Gabriel by Ansa about expedition to Californias. Report on Seris' conduct and construction of a church building. Governor reports on status of Indian Tiburones and their relocation. Captain is sent to Maloia to govern and to protect Indians from their enemies.
