This is a long informe written by fr. Francisco Iturralde to the guardian, dealing with personal matters in which fr. Iturralde defends himself against formal accusations brought against him. He suspects as the dununciantes either fr. Florenzio Ibanez or fr. Narcisco Gutierrez. He recounts the whole story of the happenings in the missions some of which is sordid. This extensive informe was written by the guardian of the colegio de Santacruz complaining of conditions in the missions of Pimeria Alta. It contains 105 paragraphs in all and was written in the name of the discreets of the college. It seems to be the original document but does not bear signatures. (microfilm catalog)

A collection of letters written by fr. Diego Bringas. There are Ten letters in all, sent to fr. Francisco Rivera with the exception of one which was written to fr. Francisco Iturralde. These letters were all written during the year 1795, from various missions. Some are written on full folios and others on half folios. All the letters are original and each has the autograph of fr. This is a copy of the informe sent by fr. Garza to the prefecto of the missions giving an account of the missions del Espiritu Santo, el Rosario, el Refugio, puerto de Mata Gorda, etc. It was sent from the mission de la Bahia del Espiritu Santo. This informe was written to the king from the college of San Fernando opposing the recommendation of Don Philipe Neve, the governor, who proposes for economic reasons one missionary be placed in each mission. The document is signed by fr. Francisco Pangua, the guardian and his discretorium and is countersigned by fr. Diego Ximenez, testifying that it is an exact copy of the original. This informe gives an account of each of the following missions and the dates of their foundation- S. Diego, July 16, 1769; San Gabriel, September 8, 1771; S. Luis Obispo, September 1, 1772; S. Antonio de Padua, July 14, 1771; S. Carlos de Monte Rey, June 3, 1770. It also speaks of the missions, San Buenaventura Santa Clara and San Francisco which were not yet founded, but the proposed sites for their foundation are mentioned.
