Preneda upon assuming office as gobernador Interino reports on status of presidio at Santiago de Moncloa, Coahuila. He comments on lack of gunpowder, lack of care of weapons, physical conditions of buildings, relations with surrounding Indians (resistance, horse thefts, etc.).
