1621 inhabitants in Oposura, Cumpas. People both pueblos speak Hore (Opata dialect). Inhabitants Oposura gente ladina because of presence Spanish miners San Juan Bautista 7 leagues away. People work in mines, raise abundant harvests, live in flat-roofed houses, have beautiful 3 Nave church, good religious band. Indication some problem caused by wage work in mines, however.
