Concerns Series of documents reporting on destruction inflicted by Indians upon provincias del Poniente. Charges of negligence are brought against military officials who were not doing their job in controlling Indians. Apaches have stolen and killed animals as well as vasallos in haciendas and pueblos. Complet reorganization of presidios and military personnel is suggested to stop Indians from committing more crimes. Resources and potential capacity to support inhabitants in each presidio is given and analyzed (document contains lista of presidios and their military personnel. They also include notes in which military supplies, such as gunpowder, weapons and food are listed. Concerns letters reporting on Apaches' activities around the provinces. Apaches are said to be destroying everything without punishment. Apaches are stealing horses and killing people and presidio officials have done nothing to stop them. Captains Dias and Casanova are blamed for the extensive damage Indians are doing. (M. Concerns Series of reports in which military officials detail how Apaches and other Indians are attacking, killing and stealing horses from haciendas belonging to local owners. Indians have committed crimes and left unpunished, some government officials feel that the provinces will colapse if the same situation continues. Concerns raid against Apaches who killed two correo soldiers from presidio of Janos. Commander from San Buenaventura is promoted to captains for heroic actions carried out against Apaches. Viceroy orders to replace weapons and other items lost capotas, sables, Adargas etc.). Series of testimonies are taken from soldiers in an effort to assess the extent of the loss. Concerns notice to the viceroy about terrible epidemia de calentura killing the population; notice that Indians killed some people and stole horses, soldiers went in pursuit of the Indian to the sierra de tamaulipas; report is sent to the viceroy about the outcome of the campaigns against Indians, details of the battles are given; artillery troops keep Indians under siege (artillery weapons include cannons and Pedreros) (M.
