Focus is on Former commander Rodriguez. Letters from his widow and son discussing his military career and situation of family after his death. (ff.69-71,77). Widow requests employment for her son. Copy of letter from Manuel Rodriguez (ff. 72-76) to viceroy discussing weapons, and information on troops. Copy requested by Francisco Rodriguez. Followed by 5 blank pages. Letter from V. Rodriguez to viceroy that briefly discusses his own career as captain of the presidio (ff. 79). States that Manuel Rodriguez I his Brother. V. Rodriguez ordered to appoint position of tenencia del Rio Grande as he sees fit. Another letter discusses troops at presidio, status of nearby missions, activities of personnel and Indians, and visita general of the presidio.
