Homer Shantz Travel Notes, December 10-13, 1919
Travel notes pages 576-583. Shantz describes their arrival back to Kafue from a camping trip in the surrounding area. He describes in great detail a zebra hunting trip, and the process of cutting up and disemboweling the animal. He describes more vegetation, plant life, agriculture, and native agriculture. He also lists the Mashakalumhave names of trees. Photographs include images of unloading at the Kafue River and native boys lashing the oxen to the neck yoke.
