Amesqueta (capitan de la primera compania del Primer escuadron del Cuerpo de dragones) uses the testimony of Soldados and a capitan, who were procesados by the Alcalde, to demonstrate the meddling. Francisco Martinez (espanol) and Antonio Saenz (indio) confess to stealing and slaughtering 2 Head of cattle. Martinez, age 50, lists his possessions as- 1 horse. Saenz possessions- a small house. Saenz tribal affiliation is abbreviated as a. Could be Acoclame. (R. Perez) (1977)

Jose Garcia, indio native of Chihuahua, age 28, is accused of (1) entering the bedroom of Juana, and (2) the next day, pelting her with stones. He confesses, saying that regarding the 1st offense he was merely checking to See if she was corruptable; and as to the 2nd, he mistook her and her companions for thieves. Primero, the lady's Husband doesn't press charges, saying, in effect, that to forgive is divine. (R. Perez) (1977)

Assignments of guards and escorts for the semana Santa (due to the repeated assaults of enemy indians). Contains lists fo citizens responsible for each church. Ignacio Artalejo, merchant, files a complaint against two of his employees- Antonio Machuca, a mulato, and Jose Caveros, an espanol, for stealing bread and selling it. The two are sentenced to prison labor in a mine until their wages have accumulated to the amount of the thefts. (R. Perez) (1977)

Juana Ginobes caught Lazaro Estrada, her servant and baker, in illicit concubinage (ilisita amistad) with a neighbor woman. Lazaro, an Indian, twice beat Juana when she demanded that he cease this shameful action. Lazaro is sentenced to three months in prison doing hard labor in the mines. (R. Perez) (1977)

Acting on a request from the capitan of San Carlos, the justicia mayor of Parral assembles all the able bodied men between the ages of 18 and 40 to elect replacements for said presidio.
