Petition by Ugarte y Loyola for transfer to Guadalajara or Mexico. Military escort of Seri prisoners for theft, murder and rebellion to Guadalajara (emotional and strong prejudice displayed). Guns for the compania de Opatas. Detailed accounting for approved expenses of payment office. Ff. 361-362 chart of expenditures for firearms in comandancia general, itemized by military group and rank with totals for each and summaries. Request and receipt of reglamentos de California written by Neve. Documents referring to contraband, murder, sexual crimes, desertions of military personnel, illicit drinks, civil and military appointments within Provincias Internas. By order of king a judge named to deal with illicit drinks. List of Seri families requesting peace. Unification of Seri rebel capitan with Apaches to wage war against Seris who surrendered and thru conquest of other smaller Indian groups to attack Spaniards. Invention of armor by teniente Bertucat and request to king to have licence to construct such armor. Autos against Capitancillo norteno Ramirez. Rebel Taraname Jose Luis sent to Havana's prison to avoid more rebellions in Texas. Civil suit by inhabitants of Villa Nombre de Dios to keep such village under jurisdiction of viceroy instead of Provincias Internas. Inspection and advise on compania de Milicianos from Texas by Anza. Wedding of capitan Fages. (A. Dell'acqua, April 1988)

Correspondence between viceroy, comandante Croix and officials within Provincias Internas of which following stand out. Transferring of monies from Caxas reales to Mexico but of new coinage. Separation of capitan Laso from command as captain of dragones de Espana and replaced by his Brother. Authorization to recruit personnel in Chihuahua to replace retired personnel and injured personnel. Transfer of two bison (civolos) from presidio Bahia to Mexico in route to Spain as gift to king. Various documents on disturbance of the peace. Request for teachers from Spain to guide Indians in the cultivation and process of linen. Burning of presidio Orcoquisa and establishment of new settlements in Coaguila. Payment of 10 and 5 pesos respectively by claimants of ownership of mules and horses recovered by military personnel set by viceroy. Transportation of new pistols from Spain to presidios in Provincias Internas. (A. Dell'acqua April 1988)
