The mulato brothers Benites have been arrested for vagrancy, but the testimonies against them charge them with a variety of crimes (in detail) including murder, robbery and fomenting dissention with bad Indians. (R. Perez) (1977)

Estevan, a Tarahumara, is accused of Murdering a Spaniard. The identity of the victim must be inferred due to the state of the corpse, it had been partially consumed by Coyotes. Estevan confesses, giving as his motive that the victim whipped him. He is captured by his fellow townspeople who turn him over to the Spaniards. They also supply a long list of previous crimes committed by Estevan. The sentence is death by hanging, the corpse to be quartered and placed in various public locales. (R. Perez) (1977)

Francisco Argazatte, a Baborigame from Cinco Senores, kills his wife because she wouldn't answer questions concerning her relationship with a mulato, Juan Ramos. Argazatte is accused by, and aprehended by his own people. He later confessed. (R. Perez) (1977)

Preparations for campaign against hostile Cocoyome, Coaguileno Indians involving forces from Mapimi, Gallo, Cerrogordo, Conchos presidios, Tepeguan and Tlascalteco Indian auxiliaries, and vecinos from Spanish communities. Campaign rosters included. Some prisoners taken and interrogated, including Cocoyome leader Juan de Lomas. Lomas blames Coaguilenos for all the robberies and murders.
