Reports three soldiers incapable of completing service. Concerns transfer of Indian prisoner. Concerns 16 pacified Indians in Palmas. Arocha requests transfer to Texas. Diaz receives notice of large influx of Indians to Bejar, responds by sending 60 men. Relates incident in which Indians stole 6 horses, fled when horses were retrieved and returned to Flores' ranch killing two people and burning the huts, corrals and horses within. (M.
