Ff. 352-354 discusses the shipment of arms to Leon and the reimbursement sought by a governor, arms are to arm the militia, describes the role that the intendent of San Luis Potosi has in militia in Nuevo Reyno de Leon subsequent to military inspection of Calleja, mentions submitting the request for armaments to the real tribunal and their correspondence back; folios 358-362 weapons sent to the governor of Nuevo Reyno de Leon in 1774; letter asking if real hacienda has been reimbursed for the costs of the armaments mentioned above. Pimas described cooperating in robbery with rebel Indians--Corbalan describes their tactics in escaping from troops. Corbalan sends inspection reports on Varios military groups and fiscal affairs of the expedition; lack of funds and currency. Mesia writes Corbalan about his opinion of worth of two companias volantes in Guaymas. Notification of recipients of promotions within companias volantes; discussion of provision of supplies to expedition. Corbalan will publish vandos about establishment of lottery. Corbalan to Croix regarding Alamos treasurer, and treasury instruccion written by Belena; additions to the instruccion provided which concern debtors, control of treasury keys, papel sellado, division of land among employees, collecting tribute, and cost of treasury office supplies. Accounting of gold and silver consigned to Echeveste for processing. Report heavy rains ruining crops and mill in Horcasitas, and loss of wheat destined for troops. Request for funds for Sonora expedition and for the Alamos treasury; viceroy informs Corbalan of 4% Alcabala charge; receipt of vandos and description of their contents, including banishment of Jesuits. Corbalan also lists monthly salaries of military personnel and Croix replies that he knows about the changes of salaries. Corbalan acknowledges merits of two officials to serve virrey. Croix relays to Corbalan requests for sick leaves for several persons. Croix appoints Velena as interim governor; Corbalan congratulates Croix on promotion; Corbalan has received letters from governor of California and commissioner of Loreto regarding need of food supplies there and an account of goods for the Monterey military expedition. Further detailed instructions from virrey on how to manage financial situation; also informs Nava that Castro has been appointed comandante de provincias de oriente by king, that Nava should meet Castro in Monclova.
